After earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from James Madison University in Virginia (2000), I began my architectural journey studying abroad in Vienna, Austria, at the American-Austrian Institute and then backpacking around Europe. After being accepted into Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc), I moved my life to Los Angeles (2004) to obtain a Masters of Architecture Degree. During these 4 years, I exchanged a semester at RMIT in Melbourne, Australia, and a spent a summer interning in Munich, Germany, working on the Tec PMC-Simeons Center.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, from large corporate firms to medium-sized studios, as well as running my own business as a consultant. I had the exciting opportunity to work as Principal Graphic Designer at Tesla Motors when it was a start-up, where I had the task of managing the brand’s identity including designing a wide range of items from interior architecture and environmental installations to printed material, store merchandise and graphics for the car.
I am now Creative Director at McSwell Studio, designing residential projects and enjoying living by the beautiful beaches of Cadiz, Spain.
